About Shark Island Dive

Shark Island Dive is a pioneering diving center located in Fuvahmulah, Maldives. Founded by Lonu, one of the first individuals to explore the depths of Fuvahmulah's oceans and encounter Tiger sharks and other species, Shark Island Dive was initially registered as Farikede Divers. It holds the distinction of being the first registered diving center on this unique island destination.


Together with a small team, Shark Island Dive has been operating for over 10 years. Over the years, it has welcomed international specialists and visiting dive instructors to work and learn about the island's pelagic life, making Shark Island Dive a hub for shark enthusiasts and divers alike.
